Audra McDonald is unparalleled in her range and the versatility of her artistry as both a singer and an actor. Audra McDonald who has won six Tony Awards in a row and two Grammy Awards in 2015 was recognized as one of Time magazine's 100 Most Influential People. President Barack Obama also awarded her the National Medal of Arts -- America's highest honour for achievements in this field. She is equally at home on television, film and Broadway. McDonald has been nominated in Three Critics Choice Award awards. She currently guest-stars in Julian Fellowes' historical thriller The Gilded Age on HBO.
