Mary McCormack is an American actress who is known for her lead role in the TV show 'Murder One', 'The West Wing In Plain Sight' as well as "Loaded". Also, she is well-known for her roles in movies such as 'Private Parts', 'Deep Impact', "True Crime and 1408'. Her parents were a therapist as well as an ice cream shop owner, McCormack hails from a family without any direct connections to the field of entertainment. She attended Wardlaw-Hartridge School, and following the divorce of parents the year 1990, went on to attend Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in the field of comparative arts. Her career started at the age of 12, when she was in a stage version of a Christmas opera titled 'Amahl and the Night Visitors'.
