Kristen Anne Bell (born 1980) is a famous American actor and singer. She was born and raised in Huntington Woods Michigan as the daughter of Lorelei Frygier (a nurse) and Tom Bell - a television director. She is an American singer and actress. Her mother is Polish and her father German, English Irish and Scottish. Kristen's talent for entertainment was found at a young age. She was cast in the role of Raggedy Ann in 1992 after attending her first audition. Bell was appointed by her mom as an agent when she was just 13 years old. Then, she was chosen for the newspaper advertisements and TV commercials. In addition to having private lessons and acting lessons, she started her career in the year 2000. Bell made an appearance as a guest in Polish Wedding (2000) in 1998, as an uncredited actress. Bell went to Shrine Catholic High School, where she was a member of the drama and music club. The Wizard of Oz production at her highschool won Bell the role of the lead Dorothy character. Bell went to New York City for the Tisch School of the Arts to study musical theatre upon graduating. Bell, who graduated in 2001, decided to leave her studies at the university to play her role as Becky in Tom Sawyer. In the is the year she made her first credited debut as Pootie Tang. Pootie Tang (2001), however, her performance was cut and her character was not shown in the credits sequence. Bell played in the Broadway revival The Crucible starring Liam Neeson as well as Angela Bettis.
