He eventually started his own company 'Chrisley & Company' that is involved in retail, media entertainment, and managing assets. Chrisley became known to people, particularly following the launch of his reality television show "Chrisley Knows Best'. He became a celebrity within a matter of days after the show premiered. The show premiered in 2014, and has aired up to six seasons. The actor also had a cameo in the film 'Sharknado: 4th Awakens' a disaster science fiction comedy film, which is a mockery of the popular movie "Star Wars: The force Awakens'.
